The newest addition to Fern Creek Traditional High School resulted in the demolition of the old elementary school, replaced by a new structure behind the high school.  Note the programmable message board on Fern Creek Road.
Little effort was made to blend the new with the old architectural elements of the school.  Even so, the ugly concrete wing in which we had most of our classes has been covered on the facade, making the overall effect more pleasing.
The school radio station is well-advertised on the new wing; however, the studios are comfortably located in the original main building, on the third floor above what used to be the athletic director's office.
